Abstract

The paper demonstrates the process of asymptotic spectrum formation in the course of
neutron power decline after the negative reactivity was inserted in VVER reactors. The
interest in this subject is caused by the requirement of making calculated corrections in order
to condition the measured data on the worth of VVER CPS control rods.
