Abstract
The assembly VVER-440 type Gd-2 has radial profile of enrichment and has 6 pins with Gd2O3. The maximal enrichment is 4.4%. Some analyses are done for assembly with flat enrichment (4.4%) and without Gd2O3. In this article are compared some characteristics (decay heat, some nuclide concentration, photon and gamma sources) for real Gd-2 assembly and for flat 4.4% assembly. The TRITON module (in SCALE 5.1) was used.
