Abstract

The SCALE system is very well known and is used for spent fuel calculations – criticality and
inventory. The latest version is the SCALE 6.1.2 system.
By post Fukushima criticality analyses we have used very simple model of assembly by
calculation of losing of cooling water. In this article are compared simple and very detailed
model of assembly and different water density.
By inventory calculation with the SCALE 6.1.2 system is possible to use several different
modules: ORIGEN-S, TRITON + NEWT (2D model) or TRITON + KENO VI (3D model).
In this article are compared activity, decay heat, neutron and gamma source for 1 assembly by
using different modules.
