ABSTRACT
The paper presents the results of ZR-6 critical assemblies calculations obtained with the spectral program TVS-M. The assemblies chosen were: K61, K91, K271, K331 and Xn, imitating the structure of a FA. Fuel assemblies contain water cavity, absorber rods of different composition including gadolinium. Also the fuel assemblies of cylindrical shape and some with the placement of several steel rods in reflector have been cosidered. Fuel assemblies have fuel rods of 9,1 mm in diameter and three different enrichments of 1,6%, 3,6%, 4,4% by 235U with lattice pitch 12,7 mm. The boron acid was used a set of experiments for achieving criticallity.
The results of effective multiplication factor calculations and the comparison of measured and computed activation of fuel rods are presented.
